Fans can notably expect the introduction of the “boyfriend” of “Red Light, Green Light” doll Young-hee.
An official release date for “Squid Game” Season 2 has yet to be announced.
Record-breaking success: “Squid Game,” which premiered in October 2021, accumulated over 1.65 billion viewing hours within its first 28 days and remains the most-watched series in the history of Netflix.
The series has won several awards, including Emmys, SAG Awards and a Golden Globe.
Additionally, Netflix is slated to release “Squid Game: The Challenge,” a reality competition show inspired by the original series that is set to premiere in November. It will feature 456 players competing for a $4.56 million cash prize, the largest prize ever offered in a reality series.
