Jackie Chan breaks down in tears while watching his past stunts in viral scene

A film scene that features international action superstar Jackie Chan breaking down in tears while watching his career-long exploits over the years has gone viral online.
Heartfelt scene: In the clip taken from his latest film “Ride On,” the 69-year-old martial arts icon is seen taking an emotional journey down memory lane while sitting beside his on-screen daughter, Liu Haocun.
Together, they watched some of Chan’s real-life stunts in past movies, including scenes in which he tumbled through rooftops (1983’s “Project A”) and swung from the side of a bus (1985’s “A Police Story”).
Released in China on April 7, “Ride On” tells a story of an old-school stunt performer and his stunt horse.
Painful career: The scene, which has circulated on social media in clipped form with various songs added, shows Liu’s character Xiao Bao asking him “Were you in any pain?”
Chan’s character, a stunt performer named Lao Luo, responds with, “a lot.”
She then tells him “Papa, you’re awesome.”
The clip ends with both of them crying as old film clips continue.
Chan’s daughter: As several of the social media clips referred to Liu as Chan’s “daughter” in captions, it is worth clarifying that she is an actress portraying his daughter in the movie.
Chan has a 23-year-old biological daughter with former beauty queen Elaine Ng Yi-lei, named Etta Ng Chok Lam.
Chan and Ng Yi-lei have been estranged for several years, with allegations of Chan disowning his daughter due to her sexual orientation. Ng Chok Lam herself has publicly stated that she does not consider Chan to be her father, emphasizing the importance of her relationship with her mother.
