Chill Asian Man Gives Away Pack of Toilet Paper at Costco in U.K.

One Asian man is melting the hearts of many people for his kind gesture of giving away a pack of toilet paper during a supermarket swarm in the U.K. amid the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The moment was captured by Twitter user Elly Johnson at a Costco in Farnborough, England, according to Storyful via MSN.
In the video, the unnamed man took two large packs of tissue paper rolls as other people swarmed the section of the supermarket. After placing it into his cart, another man behind the camera asked him, “one for me mate?”
Appearing confused by the question, the other man asked again if it’s okay to take one, and the Asian man smiled and happily gave one pack to him, saying, “yeah, take it.”
“The staff informed us all that they had already sold out once in the morning,” Johnson told Storyful, adding that the next delivery “didn’t even make it to the shelves” before the crowd started to surround the staff.
Other parts of the world are also having a toilet paper crisis, including in Australia where people fought to get their hands on a pack.
As of the time of writing, there have been more than 129,000 cases of the virus and 4,751 people have died from it, according to Worldometers. More than 68,000 people have recovered from the virus.
