Robbers Viciously Assault Asian Employees to Steal a Wig from a Maryland Beauty Store

A trio of robbers stole a wig from a beauty store in Maryland and attacked two Asian employees in the process.
The incident at Esther’s Beauty in Montgomery County, Silver Spring occurred on July 27, WTOP reported.
As seen on surveillance video, a man takes a wig off of a mannequin and attempts to leave the store without paying for it.
A 59-year-old female employee tries to stop the man, who then pushes her and struggles to keep the wig.
Meanwhile, two women hold a 74-year-old male employee against the door.
The man pepper-sprays the male employee, who then pursues him in response.
The women manage to escape the premises as the female employee tries to make a call.
Both employees turn to the man, who was left inside the store.
The man then pushes, punches and kicks the employees as he attempts to escape.
He eventually comes out but returns to retrieve the wig and give the male employee a few last kicks.
The video ends with the female employee dropping to the ground in apparent distress.
Both employees sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.
Authorities are offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the suspects’ arrest. Anyone with such information is urged to contact Major Crimes Division at 240-773- 5070.
