Sandra Oh is Hosting ‘SNL’ and We’re So Stoked
By Carl Samson
Sandra Oh will host “Saturday Night Live” on March 30.
The “Killing Eve” star will be the third Asian American woman to do so, following Lucy Liu in 2000 and Awkwafina in October.
Oh will make her debut on the NBC show with Australian band Tame Impala as the musical guest. In an Instagram post, she wrote that the experience will be “terrifyingly fun.”
Oh’s “SNL” gig falls on the weekend before “Killing Eve” returns for Season 2. It also marks her return to NBC after co-hosting the Golden Globes with Andy Samberg in January, where she also won Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama for the BBC America show.
Fans are thrilled to see Oh host “SNL,” including show writer Bowen Yang who broke the news on Twitter.
