San Diego Asian Film Festival marks 25th year with 170+ films

The San Diego Asian Film Festival (SDAFF) is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a diverse lineup of over 170 films from more than 35 countries, screening from Nov. 7-16.
Hosted by Pacific Arts Movement, this year’s program features 22 premieres, including the opening night film, “Cells at Work!,” a live-action adaptation of the popular anime, and the centerpiece film, “All That We Love,” starring Margaret Cho.
Screenings will take place at Regal Edwards Mira Mesa, the San Diego Natural History Museum and the Museum of Photographic Arts. SDAFF offers free weekday 4 p.m. screenings and complimentary access for high school-aged youth, with individual screening tickets priced at $12-15 and festival passes available from $75-$215.
