Man arrested for being part of robbery spree group who broke into at least 22 North Carolina Asian restaurants

A man accused of breaking into at least five Asian restaurants in North Carolina since the start of this year has been arrested and charged this week.

The allegations: Raymond Michael Cobb, 58, is allegedly one of several suspects who broke into 22 Asian restaurants across central and eastern North Carolina, according to CBS 17.

The break-ins, which began in January, occurred in Fayetteville, Angier, Chadbourn, Elizabethtown, Fuquay-Varina, Gastonia, Jacksonville, Lillington, Onslow and Sanford.
The latest incidents in Fayetteville reportedly took place at two restaurants along Cliffdale Road and Ramsey Street on Sept. 17.

The charges: Cobb was charged with five counts of breaking and entering of a building, three counts of larceny after breaking and entering, three counts of possession of stolen goods and two counts of conspiracy, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

Cobb, who lives in Raleigh, was also reported to have outstanding warrants elsewhere across the state for similar crimes.
He also faces charges in Virginia after being arrested in the state in September for breaking into a restaurant.
