Orange County Woman Known For Infectious Laugh Among the 59 Killed in Las Vegas Massacre

Orange County resident Teresa Nicol Kimura, one of the 59 people killed in the brutal shooting in Las Vegas on Sunday evening, will be remembered by her loved ones mostly for her charismatic personality.
Known by friends as a fun-spirited woman with an infectious laugh, the 38-year-old victim from Placentia was attending the Route 91 Harvest country music festival on the Las Vegas strip when bullets start raining from above, according to the OC Register.
That night, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock unleashed a shower of bullets on concert attendees for a duration of 9 to 11 minutes in what would later be known as the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. The tragic incident also left over 500 people injured.
Kimura, who goes by Nicol, was with a group of six friends that included “For His Glory Community Church” pastor Ryan Miller.
Miller, who has set up a GoFundMe page to support her memorial fund, spoke of Kimura’s positivity.
“Her personality will never be replaced and her being gone leaves a gap in our lives,” Miller was quoted as saying.
Kimura, a single woman, is survived by her parents and a sister, Miller revealed. She was an employee of Orange County.
“She had the most infectious laugh and personality,” he added. “She was always loving and considerate to her friends. Her spirit will live on with us forever.”
According to Miller, from his group, only Kimura was struck by a bullet during the second wave of shots that came from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. His wife Michelle Miller’s baseball cap was also pierced with a bullet.
As of this writing, Kimura’s GoFundMe campaign has already reached $30,000 of its $50,000 goal. Feel free to click this link if you wish to donate.
