American rapper Lil Reese is being urged by his social media followers to delete a post he made on Twitter that attacks Chinese because of the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Lil Reese, whose real name is Tavares Taylor, made the post on March 12, calling Chinese people nasty and accused them of spreading the virus.
“Chinese people nasty asl man got the whole [world] f*ck up,” the 27-year-old artist wrote.
Many of his followers and fans have urged him to remove the tweet.
Others called him out for being racist.
Other celebrities, such as skier Gus Kenworthy, have chimed in.
