First trailer released for new M. Night Shyamalan horror film ‘Knock at the Cabin’
Dave Bautista proves he can flex his acting chops just as much as his muscles in the first trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s new film “Knock at the Cabin.”
The film, based on the 2018 horror novel “The Cabin at the End of the World” by Paul G. Tremblay, sees a girl and her parents on vacation in a remote cabin taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand the family make an ominous “horrible decision” to prevent the end of the world.
Jonathan Groff (“Hamilton”) and Ben Aldridge (“Fleabag”) play Andrew and Eric, the adoptive parents of Wen, played by young newcomer Kristen Cui. Bautista (“Dune”) plays Leonard, one of the four strangers who besiege the family. The other three strangers are Redmond, played by Rupert Grint (the “Harry Potter” franchise), Adriane, played by Nikki Amuka-Bird (“Persuasion”) and Sabrina, played by Abby Quinn (“Little Women”).
The film is produced by Blinding Edge Pictures productions in association with FilmNation Features and Wishmore Entertainment. Shyamalan directed the film and wrote the screenplay with Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman. Shyamalan is also credited as a producer alongside Marc Bienstock and Ashwin Rajan. Steve Schneider, Christos V. Konstantakopoulos and Ashley Fox are listed as executive producers.
