K-drama fans have another series to look forward to with the highly anticipated release of “All of Us Are Dead” on Netflix.
Worth the wait: “All of Us Are Dead,” the live-action adaptation of the webtoon “Now at Our School, All of Us Are Dead” (“지금 우리 학교는”) by Joo Dong-geun, is set to release in January 2022, according to Rappler.
- The series will revolve around a group of students trapped in a school during a zombie breakout.

More undead fun: South Korea has produced a number of international hits in the zombie genre, including the massively popular “Train to Busan” and its sequel “Peninsula,” among others.
- “Train to Busan” and “Peninsula” director Yeon Sang-ho also has another upcoming supernatural series on Netflix called “Hellbound.”
- While not about zombies, the show will feature supernatural beings suddenly popping up around the world.
- “Hellbound” has been described as the “next must-binge Netflix series from Korea” and will be released on Netflix in November.
- Netflix’s other noteworthy zombie productions include the film “Alive,” the fantasy period drama “Kingdom” and the drama’s spin-off film “Kingdom: Ashin of the North.”
