Former NBA star Jeremy Lin is apparently reliving his Linsanity era in Taiwan’s P. League+, where he recently posted an incredible 50-point triple-double performance.
The 34-year-old guard tied the league’s most points record set by Indian Canadian Sim Bhullar but became the first player in the three-year-old P. League+ to also post 11 assists and 10 rebounds along with his 50-point domination.
Lin‘s impressive performance helped his team, the Kaohsiung 17Live Steelers, secure a victory over the league-leading New Taipei Kings. Lin’s brother, Joseph, who plays for the Kings, tallied 15 points and 11 assists.

The Steelers are currently tied with the Formosa Taishin Dreamers for the final playoff spot with just a few games left to play.
Lin celebrated the record-setting performance with an Instagram post that called it “the best game of my career and a night I’ll never forget.”

Recently, my wife, sister-in-law, agent, masseuse and therapist all challenged me. They asked me why I hate publicly posting about my accomplishments, and why I privately consistently downplay them. They asked why it always seem like I’m never good enough for myself. They shared that humility and being proud of yourself aren’t mutually exclusive. They pushed me to celebrate the victories, embrace my skills and enjoy the journey. So here I am, even though Im a few days late, imperfectly trying and learning to unashamedly take up my space. As Asian Americans, sometimes no matter how much we succeed, we still have to get used to celebrating ourselves. Hope you all can joyfully claim your wins today.

Lin is currently averaging 26.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 9.0 assists per game in the Taiwanese league, a stat line reminiscent of his legendary Linsanity” stretch during the 2011-12 NBA season.
During Lin’s breakout campaign with the New York Knicks, he averaged 25 points, 9.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 steals for nine straight games.

At the time, he was shooting 51% from the field, 33% from beyond the three-point arc and 71% from the free throw line.
The Knicks won eight out of nine games during Lin’s phenomenal run.
Throughout his nine-season career in the NBA, Lin recorded only one triple-double, and he did it during the 2013-14 season with the Houston Rockets.

He ended his NBA career with a championship ring with his final season with the Toronto Raptors in 2018-19.
