A popular Japanese bikini model surprised netizens earlier this month after revealing a dried fish stock in the confines of her bathroom.
Clearly, users were taken aback at the sight of fish hanging just above her tub, occupying most of the space above it. Some wondered whether she was planning to do a photo shoot or was really just bathing this way.
Long-time fans, however, were not exactly shocked — and enlightened others over the fact that the gravure idol has always been passionate about fishing.
It goes without saying that her fridge is full of them, too.
“This is the first time one of my tweets has gone this viral, so I did a ‘dried fish gravure.’ Thanks to everyone learning about my hobby for the first time! I’m a gravure idol whose hobbies are fishing and rock climbing.”
Needless to say, people had wonderful things to comment.

Others wondered about the fish leaving her bathroom smelly, but she explained that she carefully cleans and brines them. She also uses her bathroom so that they may not be targeted by birds or be exposed to fumes.
