Japanese company Manda Fermentation Co. earned a Guinness World Record for the world’s heaviest radish.
The world-record radish officially weighed in at 45.845 kilograms (101 pounds, 1.8 ounces). The radish’s circumference was measured at 113 centimeters (44.48 inches) with a root length of 80 centimeters (31.49 inches), Guinness World Records shared. Unlike a regular radish, which is harvested in three months, Manda Fermentation’s radish was harvested after a total of six months in late February.
