Japan Now Has Chocolate Nipples of Young and Old Women
By Carl Samson
Chocolate nipples, designed like those of young girls to mature women, will be sold in Japan next year.
They melt in your mouth.
According to RocketNews24, the sweet treats were inspired by the Jison-in Temple in Wakayama Prefecture, which worships nipples for fertility and safe childbirth.
The chocolate nipples, branded as “CHOCONIP”, are manufactured by the Mme KIKI company. They will go on sale next year, in eight varieties that represent the transformation of nipples from a young girl’s to a mature woman’s.
These edible nipples are designed by Makoto Aido who thought they should be “very sweet”:
“I think nipples are quite lovely. I thought these chocolates shaped as nipples with extraordinary luck embedded inside should be very sweet.”
The modern artist also expressed how much love he’s put into them:
“By mostly using my left and right index fingers I wholeheartedly created eight types of nipples.”
Mme KIKI’s online store will be selling a box of CHOCONIPs for 5,500 yen ($52.50) beginning February 6, 2017. Meanwhile, those eager to secure their chocolate nipples can pre-order between January 7 and February 10.
