Jackie Chan to play Splinter in Seth Rogan’s ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ movie

Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies have announced Jackie Chan as the voice of Splinter in the upcoming animated movie “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.”
Seth Rogen, who produced the movie and voiced Bebop, revealed the cast during the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. The lead cast members include Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, Micah Abbey as Donatello and Brady Noon as Raphael. 
The film also features an all-star lineup of supporting voice actors, including John Cena as Rocksteady, “The Bear” star Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito as as Baxter Stockman, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom, Ice Cube as Superfly and Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog. 
In the original tale, the four turtles sheltered in the sewers of New York City strive for acceptance by the people they’ve sworn to protect. Along with their friend April, they face off against a criminal cabal but encounter more than they bargained for when a horde of mutants is unleashed into the city.
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” will hit theaters on Aug. 4.
