Ive will drop their first English single, “All Night,” next week.
About the track: As heard from a teaser released on Tuesday, “All Night” appears to sample or be a remake of Icona Pop’s 2013 hit of the same title. The song will feature Asian and African American rapper Saweetie.
“We’re so excited for our first English single and have had a great time working with Saweetie,” the group said on Instagram. “Can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
About the group: Ive, which consists of Yujin, Liz, Rei, Gaeul, Leeseo and Wonyoung, is currently one of South Korea’s top K-pop girl groups. They debuted under Starship Entertainment in December 2021 with “Eleven” and have since released chart-topping comebacks, including “Love Dive,” “After Like,” “Kitsch,” “I Am” and “Baddie.”
The group wrapped up 2023 and entered the new year with accolades from multiple music events, most notably Album of the Year for “I’ve IVE” at the Melon Music Awards (MMA).
“All Night” will be Ive’s first new music release since their first extended play (EP), “I’ve Mine,” in October. The single drops on Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. ET.
