HYBE, the label behind global K-pop sensation BTS, has yet to confirm plans for the group’s reunion, according to label founder Bang Si-hyuk.
Speaking at the Gwanhun Forum in Seoul on Tuesday, Bang clarified that while HYBE and BTS are working toward a 2025 reunion, it is not guaranteed to happen.
“We said we ‘hope’ the members can resume in 2025, not ‘will,’” he emphasized, as per Kpop Herald.

Bang also mentioned that the enlistment schedules of the BTS members who have yet to start their mandatory military service are private information. However, they will be publicly disclosed once they are confirmed.
In addition, HYBE’s founder revealed that BTS have yet to renew their contracts with their label.
“We’ll discuss [contract renewal with the members] within the time, and I believe it will be right for us to speak about it after the discussion ends,” he declared.
As previously confirmed by HYBE last year, they intend for all seven BTS members to complete their mandatory military enlistments when the time comes. Jin has already enlisted in the South Korean military, and J-Hope has already initiated the military enlistment process.
