‘Most Hated German in Thailand’ Goes to South Korea After Being Blacklisted By Thai Officials

Benjamin Holst, considered to be the “Most Hated German in Thailand,” is now in South Korea after being blacklisted by Thai immigration.
Holst tried to board a flight from Zurich to Laos on Tuesday via Thai Airways. However, the airline did not let the man board the plane, citing that Thai immigration had blacklisted him from entering the country, The Nation reported.
He is now traveling to Busan, South Korea, after his brief stop in Seoul to check out “hooker hill.”
The man made headlines for the wrong reasons in 2014 after he scammed a lot of kindhearted Thai people off their money for pretending to have a swollen foot. Holst was even featured on a television show and later received financial aid worth 50,000 Baht (about $1,511) from an association that helps German travelers overseas.
Unfortunately, instead of using the money to go back to Germany, Holst used it to pay for his party needs in Pattaya, Thailand.
He didn’t just make it to Thailand, though. Holst was also spotted in several other Southeast Asian countries like Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore, to name a few.
In September 2016, Holst was nabbed by Indonesian authorities after he tried to pull his con in Surabaya.
