Florida College Student Makes a Living Selling Her Positive Pregnancy Tests and Urine

One Florida woman sold her urine and positive pregnancy tests for $25 on Craigslist to put herself through college.
In a Jacksonville-area Craigslist ad, which has since been taken down, the unidentified woman said she was selling “positive pregnancy tests or urine for your own use.”
She added that “this is an absolutely no questions asked type of deal” in exchange for money.
“Very self explanatory,” the post began. “I am 3 months [pregnant].”
“Whether you are using it for your own amusement such as a prank, or to blackmail the ceo of whereever who you are having an affair with I DONT CARE AT ALL,” the woman wrote.
“I will not overcharge for the urine test,” she explained. “But I will not be low balled either do not contact me if you are going to be cheap and difficult.”
After using the restroom, the woman delivered on her promise and handed over a positive pregnancy test.
She said she started selling her urine online while she was searching for work that a woman in her condition could perform.
“I saw from other women and their experiences that it’s very easy,” the woman told the station, adding that she gets “$200 in a day off something I have to do no matter what.”
“Me being in college working on a bachelor’s and needing all this money to pay for a degree, this was a no-brainer,” she said.
Craigslist, not surprisingly, has seen similar types of sales posted on their website.
In a 2014 interview, the Daily Dot sat down with a pregnant woman selling her positive test on Craigslist, explaining that women wanted to buy it from her so they could fake pregnancies, as well as take revenge on their mother-in-law.
Even though selling bodily fluids is not allowed on Craigslist, legal expert Dale Carson told WJAX/WFOX that this kind of transaction falls into a “legal gray area.” However, purchasing a test to fake a pregnancy can be a crime resulting in fraud charges.
