Kid Mai Death Cafe, near the Bangkok Mass Transit System on Aree Soi 1 in Thailand, is a great place for people who want to check out morbid themes that center mostly around death and funerals.

The establishment offers a very unique experience to its customers.

According to the staff, the purpose of the cafe’s setting is to warn people to live life to the fullest as we don’t know when our time will be up, The Nation reported.

Customers are greeted by a replica of a funeral — complete with a coffin, wreaths and a sign that reads, “Eventually, you can bring nothing.”
Pens and paper are also provided for patrons to write their own will.

The cafe also offers a challenge to its customers. Guests brave enough to lie inside the coffin with its lid closed for three minutes will receive a 20 Thai baht ($0.64) discount.

Even the names of the foods on the menu in Kid Mai Death Cafe are references to the fleetingness of life, including “birth,” “aging,” “illness,” “elder,” “painful” and “death.”

The cafe may have gone a little bit too far with its theme, but it does not compare to the coffee shop in Chonburi’s Sattahip District in Thailand, which became viral last month for letting half-naked women serve customers their food.
