Fans of Daniel Wu and “Into the Badlands” have been rallying on social media to save the show after its cancellation at AMC.
The martial arts series, which first aired in November 2015, will end after the second half of its third season, which begins March 24.

The show will resume its regular time slot on Mondays at 10 p.m. beginning March 25.
In the final episodes, “long buried secrets will be revealed, new alliances will be forged, and the saga will climax in an epic battle to end all battles,” according to AMC.

In an Instagram post, series lead Wu thanked fans for their support for the past three seasons.
“Thank you for your support. We always had you in mind while making this as we wanted to give you the best martial arts action show to ever appear on tv and I think we achieved that. But that wouldn’t have been possible without you! So thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
The series has been on a midseason break since June 2018. On Twitter, cast member Lewis Tan promised that the final season will be “bloody worth the wait.”
“The final battle. The final season. I promise it will be bloody worth the wait,” Tan wrote. “I am sad but also at the same time grateful and honored to be part of a martial art legacy. We put everything into this season and raised the bar high.”
