South Korean pop group BTS is confirmed to appear on several American talk shows.
The K-pop boy band, also known as Bangtan Boys and Beyond The Scene, is set to perform on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” late night show, and was also rumored to make an appearance on MTV’s “TRL”, according to Billboard.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” is just one of the many shows the group will be on while in the United States. BTS will also appear and perform at the American Music Awards, which is set to film on Nov. 19 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
Meanwhile, Big Hit Entertainment via Soompi officially confirmed that BTS is also going to appear on “The Ellen Show” during the group’s visit to the country.
BTS amazingly dominated most of the music awards this year. The K-pop superstars defeated Canadian pop star Justin Bieber at the Kids’ Choice Awards in Mexico in August.
Then, in September, the seven-member group set a new Guinness World Record for most Twitter engagement, beating English artist and former One Direction band member Harry Styles.
Due to their social media presence, BTS was named one of Us Weekly magazine’s 15 “Most Influential Celebrities on Social Media.”
BTS also became the first ever K-pop group to be nominated and win a Billboard award for Top Social Artist, surpassing Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Shawn Mendes.
