Y Combinator’s Co-Founder Now Taking Applications For Startup School 2013 – Its Free
To anyone that has pondered whether they should the leap of faith and start a startup, Startup School might be for you. This one-day FREE event was founded by Paul Graham, Co-founder of the seed accelerator Y Combinator. Graham is now taking applications for Startup School 2013, which is happening October 19.
Although this years speakers have yet to be announced, past speakers for this event have included Ashton Kutcher, Mark Zuckerberg, Tony Hsieh, and Steve Wozniak.
Kevin Xu, a past Startup School attendee told NextShark:
Everyone should go [to Startup School], hearing all these untold stories of success and failure is extremely inspiring and humbling. You really feel like you can one day be on stage too.

The atmosphere of energy in the room at startup school is something you have to experience to believe. Many founders have told us that this event was what finally made them take the leap.
The event is free, but because more people may want to come than we have room for, we ask you to fill out a brief application form if you want to attend. The application deadline is noon PT on September 20, and we’ll issue acceptances on September 30.
