Lion-Killing Dentist’s Yelp Page Gets Filled With One-Star Reviews and Gay Porn

Today is really not a good day to be Walter J. Palmer, DDS.
With the revelation today that the killer of Cecil the lion in Zimbabwe was in fact Minneapolis-based dentist Walter Palmer, an avid bow hunter, his Yelp business page (WARNING: Extremely not safe for work) has quickly become a landfill of hateful remarks, one-star reviews and a ton of gay porn.
(UPDATE: All pictures depicting sexual situations have been removed from the Yelp page.)
Out of the over 1,600 reviews his business has, over 1,580 of them are one-stars as of this writing — and that number is growing quickly. One such user wrote of Palmer:
“My personal experience with this dentist was horrible. His eyes are soulless, and the way he stared at my teeth was just freaking creepy. His bedside manner I would compare to a serial killer.”
Only one Yelper wrote a positive review in defense of Palmer, visible on the front page.
It all just goes to show that Yelp often has more to do with social popularity than the actual service a business provides.
Also, if you gruesomely kill a world-famous lion, say goodbye to your business. At least Palmer will have less money to travel around the world decapitating and skinning animals.
