It looks like Tardar Sauce, aka Grumpy Cat, has a new feline rival for the title of “The World’s Grumpiest Cat.”
Koyuki is a 9-year-old Scottish fold cat, although she doesn’t bear the breed’s trademark lop ears.
She lives in Yokohama, Japan, and has gained Insta-fame among its netizens for her permanent scowl.
“Just her face is angry, but she always feels happy,” her owner told ABC News.
She has almost 20,000 Instagram followers and 44,000 Twitter followers.
Her name is Japanese for “light snow.”
“She is a spoiled and taking kindly to men,” her owner told People. “She likes yoghurt. Her ‘meow’ is sweet voice, contrary to her face.”
Her owner added: “A veterinarian said she has an unidentified disease. So I’m going to bring her to specializes in circulatory organ constitutional diseases.”
Hopefully, Kokyuki will get well soon so she can continue bringing smiles to people’s faces around the world.
