Chloe Kim is among the best of the U.S. to be featured in one of the commercials for the Winter Olympics during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The 17-year-old athlete from Long Beach, California is starring in NBC’s minute-long ad featuring her father, Jong-jin Kim, who introduced her to the world of snowboarding.

The ad opens with a busy Mr. Kim arriving late to pick up his daughter for training.

Frustrated, Chloe struggles in the half-pipe.
Mr. Kim then leaves his job to put his daughter first and shows up on time the next day.
This time, Chloe was back on track!
The ad closes with the halfpipe prodigy snowboarding in all her majesty — and rightfully bringing home a trophy.
Chloe first started snowboarding at the age of four with her dad and has been training ever since. At six, she was already competing as a member of SoCal’s Team Mountain High. She won her first medal, a silver, at 13.
Today, she is known as the youngest athlete in the history of X Games to win three gold medals before turning 16.
Chloe’s stunning records qualified her for the Sochi Olympics in 2014, but she was too young at the time as a 14-year-old.
The Korean-American Olympian must now be thrilled to compete at her parents’ home country. She told People back in December:
“My parents are really excited about it, and it’s some crazy luck that my first Olympics are going to be in Korea where my parents are from. And a lot of my relatives over there have never really seen me compete before, so I think it’s going to be pretty cool for everyone. It’s really exciting, my whole family is really excited about it, so that gets me even more stoked!”
Chloe competes in Pyeongchang on February 10.
